Messages from the Generalate on the launch of the new website

Welcome message

Message from Sr Joan Lopez, Congregational Leader

Dear Sisters, Partners-in-Mission and Friends,

We the Congregational Leadership Team wish you a  most blessed and happy feast of Saint Mary Euphrasia!  I am delighted to announce the much-awaited launch of our congregation’s new website, which is now live.

I extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you to explore our revitalized website, a culmination of diligent efforts and unwavering dedication by the collaborative work of the Congregation’s Communications Office and GSIF’s Communications Department.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Liam Quinn, our Communications Office Manager and Sr Dale Saavedra, Communications Office Coordinator, Giuseppe Ragone and Sara Braga of GSIF Communications, Marco Grottesi of the IT Department, Sr Yvette Arnold, Sr. Françoise Mestry and countless others whose contributions have been instrumental in making this website a reality.

Do engage actively with the website, sharing your insights, stories, and reflections of your synodal journeys  and experiences of mission. Let us harness the power of technology to amplify our voices, foster meaningful dialogue, and advance our shared love for mission.

Let us embrace the potential of effective communication which spreads hope, inspires change and magnifies our congregation’s mission in the world.  With every click, every interaction, may our website be transformed into a beacon of love and solidarity.

With Blessings,

Joan Lopez

Congregational Leader

Message from Liam Michael Quinn, Communications Manager

Dear Sisters, Partners-in-Mission, and Friends,

Today, on the feast of Saint Mary Euphrasia, the Communications Office is delighted to be able to share with you the new website of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd. The publication of the new site follows the launch earlier this year of the Congregation’s new monthly e-newsletter, and social media accounts.

The Communications Office is grateful for the support offered by Good Shepherd International Foundation in the development of this website and to all the Congregational Offices who engaged with us to create what has been achieved.

As we move into a new era of communication for the Congregation, we look forward to strengthening our collaboration with our designated Link Communications Persons in each Unit, Congregational Offices, and Good Shepherd International Foundation to seek new and creative ways to ensure that the Communications Office serves as a central hub for communication activity throughout the Congregation and beyond.

Our desire is that as the website continues to evolve, it will become a beating pulse of activity for the Congregation and a central hub of information and resources where you can come to read, watch, and listen to stories on every aspect of our life, mission, and ministries.

United in Mission,

Liam Michael Quinn
