Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd
Commonly known as the Sisters of the Good Shepherd, we are an international congregation of Catholic religious sisters with an apostolic or contemplative lifestyle who share our mission together with partners-in-mission.
As an organization in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, we are present in 67 countries where we work to empower lives, uphold rights, and restore the dignity of girls, women, and children.

Global Green Lung Initiative
On the 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐚, the Congregational Leadership Team is proud to launch the 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞: a shared response to Laudato Si’ and a growing commitment to the care of our common home.
Our first shared action is simple: plant a tree and care for it.
One tree may seem small in the face of the climate crisis. Yet every tree is a choice for life. Trees provide shade, food, and shelter, protect the soil, support biodiversity, and nurture life for generations to come. When our actions come together across the world, they become a visible expression of solidarity with the Earth.
