The Working Group on Girls (WGG) is thrilled to announce a transformative opportunity for girls to enhance their advocacy skills and prepare for meaningful engagement ahead of the 69th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69). The WGG Girl Mission Visits Training will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2025, offering flexible participation times across various time zones: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (EST), 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (GMT), and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (EAT).

This essential training is designed to empower girls with the knowledge, tools, and practical experience needed for effective advocacy. By participating, girls will gain confidence and insights that will enable them to make a meaningful impact during their Mission Visits. The training will feature engaging pre-recorded videos, dynamic presentations to review key materials, and interactive breakout rooms where participants can practice their advocacy skills.

Girls in Good Shepherd schools and programs that are interested in this empowering experience must complete the registration process. Registration is now open and closes on January 4, 2025. Participants can register through the Google form provided here: https://forms.gle/HHhbwbJBuD8gkqUB7. Interpretation will be available in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese.

Additionally, all participants must review, sign, and upload the consent form as part of their registration.

As a proud member of the Working Group on Girls, Good Shepherd International Justice and Peace is honored to support this initiative. We look forward to seeing the girls’ advocacy efforts thrive during this training and beyond. Together, let us prepare the next generation of advocates to advance the rights of girls and contribute to shaping a better future.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a powerful movement for change!
