Dear Sisters and Partners-in-Mission,
While our hearts are heavy with sorrow, they are also filled with deep gratitude for the extraordinary gift Sr. Liliane Tauvette has been to our Congregation.
Leading the Congregation with love from 1991 to 2003, Liliane’s life among us was marked by a quiet strength and unwavering faithfulness. She served with a depth of wisdom and humility that touched our hearts and moved the Congregation into new and significant pathways.
She carried within her a contemplative stillness that spoke of simplicity always embodying the heart of the Good Shepherd.
As we now entrust Liliane to the embrace of our Shepherd God, we recognize that her journey does not end, but continues in mystery — her love and legacy living on in all the lives that she had impacted.
To her sisters in Montreal, and to her family, friends, and partners-in-mission: we stand with you in love and prayers. We thank you for the care and accompaniment you gave Liliane throughout her life.

Relatives and friends will be welcomed on June 18, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. in the Salle La Source of Carrefour Providence Funeral Mass with ashes at 1:30 p.m. at the same location. Father Pierre Côté, sj, officiating. Interment at a later date at Ste-Geneviève de Pierrefonds Cemetery.
