Our Ministries
Areas of intervention
Through more than 400 global ministries, our sisters and partners-in-mission reach out to girls, women, and children facing social conditions that cry out for mercy, reconciliation, and transformation.
Today, our programs, policy, and advocacy work are defined in six main areas of intervention, as detailed in our Position Papers.
Migration
We educate people on the move regarding their rights and provide services that respond to the complex needs of migrants, which include residential care, language skills, health care, social integration, trauma healing, employment skills, and legal help.
Economic Justice
We seek to eradicate poverty while supporting decent work, sustainable and environmentally sound economic growth, reduced inequalities, and responsible production and consumption.
Girl Child
We develop supportive social programs that welcome and value each girl, respecting her spiritual, human, and child rights, and offer specialized gender-sensitive responses for children who have suffered traumas related to abuse, deprivation, family loss, all forms of sexual exploitation, and armed conflict.
Anti-Human Trafficking
We support policies that will prevent and eradicate trafficking in women and girls by addressing gender discrimination, economic injustice, violence against women, criminal impunity, and government corruption.
Gender-based Violence
Our programs support women and girls in healing, self-sufficiency through employability skills, economic and personal growth opportunities, and reconciliation with often-estranged families.

Integral Ecology
